Business Planner (One year contract)

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan

The Business Planner will be responsible for ensuring the availability of material to meet demand requirements by interacting with suppliers on the flow of wafer fabs, assembly houses, and test houses.

Responsibilities:

• Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.
• Customers order management and fulfillment. Manages production to ensure the supply of products is constant and support customers’ requirements.
• Supplier management. Provide forecast to suppliers and negotiate the capacity and schedule.
• Purchase materials in accordance with Pixelworks guidelines and procedures relating to cost, quality and delivery.
• Issues work orders to suppliers, check and monitor the material process and schedule.
• Analyze forecasts and actual customer order requirements versus manufacturing capacity
• Develop a schedule, which optimizes manufacturing efficiency, minimizes inventory investment and products to our customers on a timely basis.
• Communicating with sales and QA, PE and support teams to take ownership of issues and resolve them in an accurate and timely manner.
• Use Oracle for production transition.
• Provide shipping instructions for drop shipments and resolve the shipping issues.
• Hsin-chu office inventory management and shipment arrangement.

Requirements:

• Minimum of Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience in planning, coordinating and scheduling production operations.
• 3~4 years of experience with inventory control in the semiconductor/electronics industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft tools like Word, Excel, Access
• Knowledge of Oracle (Requirement), Triniti Tool (Preference)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong Analytical Skills and customer service orientation
• Must be well organized and detail oriented.
