To meet this growing demand, we deliver our technology as IP cores, semiconductors, software and custom ASIC solutions. This flexible approach allows our customers to deliver the highest video quality in a multitude of applications and form factors while also providing the ability for end product differentiation. Our primary target markets include smartphones, tablets and digital projection systems.

Position Overview:

Based in Shanghai, Pixelworks is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager for its burgeoning mobile business. With the recent launches of Apple’s new iPhones, the promotion of high quality video, including HDR, 1M:1 contrast ratio and color accuracy, has emphasized the need for an improved viewing experience on mobile devices.

Our unique, market leading technology is creating various opportunities for us in this market. Reporting to the China Marketing Director, this position will lead our product management and product marketing for our mobile business (product champion, product definition, program management of new product development, product launch, etc.).

Key Duties:

  • Combine market, technology and customer requirements to define next generation products, including leading the MRD/PRD process
  • Drive engineering and technology teams in the development of new products
  • Develop presentations and marketing collateral for new products
  • Create demos of new chipsets for customer evaluation and comparison
  • Define the near-term and long-term go to market strategy for Pixelworks in the mobile segment
  • Develop pricing strategies to achieve market penetration and profit objectives
  • Collaborate with target customers to share product and technology roadmaps and ensure consistency between internal development plans and customer needs
  • Work with sales and marketing to ensure successful adoption of new Pixelworks technologies
  • Understand competitive offerings and how to position against them
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure business unit and corporate objectives are met

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of product marketing and product management experience with mobile products
  • BS technical degree required, MBA preferred
  • Demonstrate good business sense, critical thinking skills, outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proven success in marketing, new product development, and product & technology management
