General Summary:
This role will be responsible: Manages supplier relationship in terms of execution on business/commercial/contract to meet capacity requirement supporting company growth of revenue, proactively address on problem daily comes up and resolve with cross-functional team effort. Cultivate and plan cost reduction projects, driving for best sourcing result in terms of quality and cost with risk mitigation
Job Description:
- Source, evaluate & negotiate with vendors or subcontractors for better terms and conditions.
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective from Mask, Wafer Foundry, Assembly and Test.
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
- Drive vendors or subcontractors for continuing improvement in their products and services.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Perform risk management and Co-work with cross-Department, include planning, engineering, quality, sales teams to ensure the expectation of customer and company can be achieved.
- Perform QBRs with key suppliers and outsourced services.
- Maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
- Review existing suppliers and develop new ones as replacement for better terms, conditions, service, support, pricing and lead time.
- Manage product end of life management on supply matter
- Prepare data analysis solutions for internal business reviews, supplier negotiation and market benchmarking.
- Define suppliers' cost reduction targets, drive their fulfillment, and manage supply risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or above in Supply Chain Management, IE, Logistic, Business administration, Engineering or equivalent.
- 8+ years of relevant semiconductor professional experience in Procurement or Sales & Marketing function (Foundry/OSAT).
- Current relationships with TSMC, SPIL, ASE, KYEC and GT is a plus.
- Familiar with procurement knowledge and negotiation skills in addition to general knowledge of manufacturing processes, logistics, contract management, and supply chain.
- Talent in negotiating and semiconductor marketing information collection.
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
- Knowledge and experience in the use of Oracle systems desired.
- Proven track record in semiconductor supply chain, like cost reduction or production supply.
