(Sr.) Sales Manager

Job Description:

This position is responsible for selling Pixelworks products to the fast-growing China mobile application market included smartphone and tablet.

As the (sr.) sales manager, he will develop new accounts and expand existing accounts for all Pixelworks products mainly in South China market. He is expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with our strategic customer management groups. This position will serve as the primary point-of-contact for all target key customers and ensuring that high quality customer service is provided. He will work with Sr. Sales Director to develop sales strategies and forecasts, prices for given products and channels in the region. This is a very important sales position where we are looking for a very experienced/seasoned sales individual to take this challenge.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with marketing team, FAE team and our R&D team to drive design in/win at strategic accounts.
  • Manage and support distributors to leverage their resources for design in/win at related accounts, accurately forecast and deliver revenue commitments.
  • Work closely with related platform suppliers and possible 3rd parties who have influence for our design in/win activities.
  • Develop the sales strategies and customer relationships to achieve business objectives.
  • Conduct market research/survey and monitor competitive activities and identify customer requirements for mobile/smartphone display processing designs.
  • Focus on establishing productive, professional relationships with personnel from all levels with the designated key accounts.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.

Requirements:

  • BSEE or BSCS, MS or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of direct sales and sales account management experience in the high-technology industry, display related experience is preferred.
  • Familiar with /interested in mobile/smartphone display markets.
  • Possess strong business acumen and knowledge of the market competition.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Experience working with a multinational firm is preferred.
  • Good verbal and written English skills are desired.
  • High energy, self-motivated and aggressive working attitude.
